He praised their lifelong commitment, saying: “The stories we have heard of personal sacrifice and a lifelong dedication to protecting Africa’s natural world.”

He continued with a heartfelt reminder of our obligation to future generations:
“What we choose to do will have an impact on future generations, and tonight, we must choose to do more.”

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic in Los Angeles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle brought along their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, to join a community-run, non-denominational kitchen — Our Big Kitchen — that prepares meals for those in need. Wearing matching hats with the kitchen’s logo, Archie and Lilibet were photographed actively helping prepare food.
