Eliminate fleas, ants, and cockroaches effectively with this home remedy

Tired of bugs creeping into your home? You don’t need to rely on strong chemical sprays to protect your space. This easy DIY solution uses everyday ingredients to help repel fleas, ants, and cockroaches safely and naturally.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup of liquid dish soap
  • 2 cups of ethyl alcohol or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of cloves
  • ¼ cup of water

How to Make It:

  1. Boil the cloves:
Pour the ¼ cup of water into a small pot and bring it to a boil. Add in the cloves and let them simmer for about 1 minute. Then, remove the pot from heat, cover it, and let the mixture steep for 10 minutes so the cloves release their natural oils.
  2. Prepare the base mixture:
In a separate bowl, combine the dish soap with the alcohol or apple cider vinegar.
  3. Combine everything:
Once the clove tea has cooled, add it to the soap-alcohol (or vinegar) mixture. Stir thoroughly until everything is well blended.
  4. Bottle it up:
Pour your homemade bug repellent into a clean spray bottle. Shake lightly before each use.

How to Use:

  • Spray along baseboards, corners, window sills, door frames, and any other areas where bugs tend to show up.
  • Use regularly to maintain a bug-free space.
  • Don’t forget to keep your home clean and dry – insects love crumbs and moisture!

Why This Works:

  • Natural power: Cloves and vinegar are known for their insect-repelling abilities.
  • Family- and pet-friendly: No harsh fumes or toxic ingredients.
  • Budget-wise: Made with things you probably already have at home.
  • All-purpose: Use it in kitchens, bathrooms, basements – wherever bugs lurk.
