Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, is celebrating his 43rd birthday today, Saturday, June 21.

His wife, Princess Catherine, marked the occasion with a warm birthday message shared through the couple’s official X account (formerly Twitter). The post included a photo of William with their dogs and read:

“Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies,” referring to Catherine and their children George, Charlotte, Louis, and their dog Orla.

King Charles also sent birthday wishes to his eldest son via the Royal Family’s official Instagram account. A story post featured a previously unseen portrait of William, captioned: “Happy birthday to the Prince of Wales!”

Prince William is the eldest son of King Charles and the late Princess Diana. His younger brother, Prince Harry, is 40.

William and Catherine were married on April 29, 2011, and have three children: Prince George, now 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

The family lives at Kensington Palace. The titles Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were granted to William and Catherine at the time of their marriage.
