Meghan Markle shares extremely rare clip of Archie speaking as she prepares for major career move

Meghan Markle has given fans an extremely rare glimpse of her five-year-old son, Archie, speaking in a video shared on her social media.

The Duchess of Sussex, who shares Archie and three-year-old Lilibet with Prince Harry, recently posted a series of Instagram stories showing her strolling through her garden in Montecito, California.

At 43, the former Suits actress and her 40-year-old husband have typically kept their children out of the public eye. However, Meghan has recently begun sharing more heartwarming family moments online, coinciding with the announcement of her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and the launch of her new brand, As Ever.

One of the videos features what appears to be her son, Archie, speaking sweetly as he helps with the gardening. In the clip, the little boy can be heard saying, “Mummy, I can do it if you want me to,” while Meghan waters the plants. She then gently responds, “Only if you want,” before passing him the hose.

Another moment captures Meghan documenting the “first blooms and blossoms of the year.” She is seen picking an orange and squeezing it into a sparkling cocktail, while Harry can be heard chuckling in the background.

These clips were shared following the relaunch of Meghan’s lifestyle brand website.

Her newly launched website, As Ever, which was previously named American Riviera Orchard, revolves around food, gardening, and lifestyle.

Reflecting on the rebranding, Meghan explained on Instagram, “Last year, I had thought, ‘American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.’ It’s my neighbourhood; it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.”

She went on to reveal how her collaboration with Netflix influenced her decision: “Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business, which was huge. So I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it’s called As Ever.”

On the As Ever website, a heartwarming image of Meghan and Lilibet captures them strolling barefoot through a field, holding hands. The serene scene features palm trees in the background and the ocean stretching out toward the horizon.

Meghan is making her way back to television next week with the debut of her new lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan.

As described by Netflix, the show will invite viewers to “join Meghan in the kitchen, garden – and even at the beehive.” Throughout the series, she’ll be joined by celebrity guests, including Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, and Alice Waters, among others. Each episode will feature Meghan and her guest swapping insights, techniques, and personal favorites.

With Love, Meghan is set to premiere on Netflix on March 4.
