Meghan Markle shares sweet new video of her children on Valentine’s Day

Meghan Markle has shared more love-filled content on social media, just hours after posting a heartfelt message about missing Prince Harry, who remains more than 1,000 miles away.

The former working royal, who left the UK in 2020 to settle into a luxurious £12 million mansion in California, posted a rare video featuring her children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, as they prepared Valentine’s Day treats using red bagels.

This post comes just a week after Meghan publicly displayed her affection for Harry at the Invictus Games in Vancouver, where she was seen kissing and embracing him in front of the cameras, shortly after former US President Donald Trump called her “terrible.”

In this latest show of affection, Meghan offered a glimpse into her home life, baking with her children while Harry remains in Canada for Valentine’s Day.

Earlier today, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share a photo of herself kissing Harry, just hours after Kate Middleton and Prince William posted a similar picture.

In the caption, Meghan wrote about being back home taking care of their children while missing Harry as he continues his work at the Invictus Games, highlighting the impact he has on veterans and their families. She expressed how proud she is of him and promised to enjoy burgers, fries, and fish and chips with him forever. She ended the message with “Thank you for you,” signed it with “M,” and included the hashtag #lovewins, a phrase commonly used to celebrate LGBTQ+ couples.

Harry is staying in Canada to attend the rest of the tournament for injured service personnel and veterans, which will conclude with the closing ceremony on Sunday.

After Meghan’s departure, Harry reportedly took a day off to relax and unwind before continuing with the remaining events.

Due to security reasons, plans were not disclosed in advance, but a source close to the couple confirmed that Meghan’s return home had always been planned. She had previously left the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf early after five days to return home, and this trip followed a similar schedule. The source emphasized that while Meghan is there to support Harry, the event is his, and her stay was always intended to be brief.

Meghan was seen disembarking from a private jet upon her arrival in California earlier this week. She had spent five days in Vancouver and Whistler with Harry for the seventh edition of the Invictus Games. Aides stated that her trip home was pre-planned, just as it had been at the 2023 event in Germany.

Following her return, Meghan shared a glimpse of the gifts she brought back for Archie and Lilibet, which included personalized souvenirs from Canada. In an Instagram post, she wrote about bringing home a taste of Canada and the Invictus Games for their children and cheered on Harry from afar.

Harry remains in Canada to see the tournament through to its conclusion, with security plans kept private in advance. A source reiterated that Meghan’s early return was prearranged and that she had gone home to be with their children, just as she had done in previous years.
