Meghan Markle’s shocking 13-word accusation about King Charles and Queen Camilla

In their groundbreaking 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle made startling allegations about King Charles and Queen Camilla, accusing them of failing to support her and Prince Harry during their time as working royals.

Addressing rumors that she had made the Princess of Wales cry during a disagreement about Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress, Meghan claimed she felt “silenced” and unprotected by the Royal Family. Reflecting on her experience, she told Oprah:
“That was hard to reconcile because it was only once we were married and everything started to really worsen that I came to understand that not only was I not being protected, but that they were willing to lie to protect other members of the family.”

Meghan further emphasized her feelings in a pointed 13-word statement:
“They weren’t willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband.”

While heavily pregnant with their daughter, Meghan revealed that a family member had raised “concerns and conversations” about how dark their son Archie’s skin might be before his birth in 2019.

She also opened up about the intense scrutiny from the British media, sharing that the relentless pressure had severely impacted her mental health, leading to thoughts of suicide.

Prince Harry spoke in defense of his wife, expressing disappointment at the Royal Family’s inaction in addressing the racist treatment Meghan faced in the press. He stated:
“No one from my family ever said anything… and that hurts.”

On the topic of reconciliation, Harry disclosed during the interview that no efforts had been made by his family to repair their fractured relationship.

The couple had stepped back from royal duties in 2020, a year before the interview aired. Now residing in California, Meghan and Harry remain distant from the royal fold, raising their two children, Archie, now five, and Lilibet, now three.
