My SIL Demanded That I Give Her My Baby as a Birthday Gift, but She Got Exactly What She Deserved

My sister-in-law always felt entitled to whatever she wanted, but nothing prepared me for her most outrageous demand yet—she wanted me to have a baby just so she could keep it as a gift. When she refused to take no for an answer, I decided to teach her a lesson she would never forget.

My husband’s sister, Candice, has always been selfish. At my wedding, she threw a tantrum because my dress was prettier than hers. Ridiculous, right? But the real issue was my mother-in-law always taking her side. I learned to ignore it—Harry and I had a happy life, two amazing kids, and a cozy home.

Then Candice took things to a whole new level. One day, she showed up and said, “I’m turning 30 soon, and I don’t have kids. You should give me a baby.”

At first, I thought she was joking. She wasn’t. She expected us to have a baby and hand it over to her—not because she couldn’t have kids, but because she didn’t want to go through pregnancy.

Obviously, we refused. The next day, she returned with my mother-in-law, and they completely lost it on us. That’s when I decided it was time for a lesson.

So, I told Candice I’d do exactly what she wanted.

Nine months later, I had a little surprise for her.

I walked in, holding a baby carrier wrapped in a huge bow, cradling it gently.

Candice’s eyes lit up as she reached inside—then her face twisted in shock.

“WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!” she shrieked, yanking out a doll.

Silence. Every eye in the room was on her. Then Harry and I burst out laughing.

“The only baby you’re responsible enough to care for,” I said with a smirk.

Candice’s hands trembled as she stared at the toy, her whole body shaking.

That’s when I turned to Grace—my husband’s grandmother—and told her everything.

Her face darkened. She pushed herself up from her chair, pointing a trembling finger at Candice and Charlotte, my mother-in-law.

“You’re just like your mother, Candice!” she snapped. “I warned my son not to marry you, Charlotte, but he didn’t listen—and this is the result!” Her voice shook with fury. “I’m cutting you both out of my will!”

The room went dead silent. Everyone knew Grace’s estate was worth a fortune. Candice and Charlotte just stood there, stunned.

Grace raised a hand. “That’s enough. We’re leaving. I want to spend time with my real great-grandchildren.” She turned to my husband and me. “Come on.”

Harry and I didn’t think twice. We got up, fingers intertwined, and walked out. Behind us, Candice broke down in sobs.

Charlotte screamed in anger. But we didn’t look back. They got exactly what was coming to them.
