Prince Louis’ iconic reaction to Prince George fixing his hair during rare public appearance leaves people in stitches

The Royal Family are leading the VE Day celebrations today, with many events happening in London and across the UK to mark 80 years since Germany officially surrendered in World War II.

All over the country, people are holding street parties to celebrate the 1945 victory and to honor those who gave their lives during the war.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are also joining in by hosting a special tea party at Buckingham Palace for war veterans and members of the WWII generation.

Earlier today, large crowds gathered in London to watch a military parade and an air show by the Red Arrows. Actor Timothy Spall opened the event by reading part of Winston Churchill’s famous 1945 victory speech.

Prince William, Princess Kate, and their children George, Charlotte, and Louis were also there, receiving applause from the public as they took their seats next to the King and Queen to watch the military units march down The Mall from Whitehall.

While many people were focused on the procession, some sharp-eyed viewers at home noticed a funny moment between Louis and his older brother George.

In the footage from Sky News, the camera zoomed in on the two as George tried to fix his hair, running his fingers through it to move it out of his face.

A moment later, Louis appeared to copy him, doing it with a clear exaggeration.

One user commented on X, saying: “Prince Louis copying his brother Prince George is so funny.”

One person commented: “I cannot with Prince Louis. Look at him mimicking Prince George and adding some ‘snazz’ to it. He is truly the moment.”

Another person laughed and said: “That child IS EXTRA.”

A fourth person remarked: “The prince of trolling. Had me rolling when I saw it.”

The Royal Family made headlines at the end of last week after Prince Harry gave a shocking interview with the BBC, revealing that he and his father were no longer speaking due to the ongoing dispute over security.

Despite this, it’s believed that Buckingham Palace is hoping “nothing will detract or distract from celebrating with full cheer and proud hearts that precious victory and those brave souls, on this most special and poignant of anniversaries.” A palace aide also mentioned that Charles and Camilla would lead the nation in “celebrating, commemorating and giving thanks to the wartime generation whose selfless devotion, duty and service should stand as an enduring example to us all – and must never be forgotten.”
