Royal fans distracted by Princess Kate’s appearance as she attends major event after missing it last year

Princess Kate Middleton made a radiant appearance today at the Irish Guards’ St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

The Princess of Wales, 43, had missed last year’s parade due to her battle with cancer. However, on Monday (March 17), she arrived at Wellington Barracks in London, looking stunning as she joined in the festivities.

This marks Kate’s second St. Patrick’s Day as Colonel of the Irish Guards—a role she took on in 2023.

Dressed in an elegant green coat dress paired with a matching fascinator, Kate looked every bit the royal. Her brunette hair was styled in an intricate updo, drawing admiration from fans.

“Lovely coat, beautifully dressed and the dark green is gorgeous on her,” one admirer commented.

During the solo engagement, Kate presented long service and good conduct medals to soldiers, honoring their dedication to the Army. She also upheld the tradition of handing out sprigs of shamrock to officers and guardsmen.

Royal fans were thrilled to see Kate back at the event, especially after her absence last year. Many couldn’t help but focus on her flawless appearance and hairstyle.

Another wrote: “The Princess of Wales’ hair as she attends St. Patrick’s Day Parade in her role as the Colonel of Irish Guards – absolutely love this updo. Nobody does it like her.”

Someone else simply added: “Hair goals!”

Kate’s outfit also received plenty of praise, with one fan commenting: “Lovely coat, beautifully dressed and the dark green is gorgeous on her. Immaculately dressed and graceful as always.”

Kate and William’s sweet rugby moment

Kate’s St. Patrick’s Day outing followed her recent appearance at the Six Nations rugby match between England and Wales on Saturday. She attended the game alongside her husband, Prince William. While Kate supported England, William was backing Wales.

As the Patron of the Rugby Football Union, Kate cheered for her team, while William, Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, rooted for Wales.

However, it wasn’t just the game that had fans talking—it was the couple’s affectionate interactions.

Throughout the match, William and Kate were seen smiling warmly at each other, with fans swooning over their bond.

One admirer shared photos of the pair and wrote: “Those looks! Sweet moments between the Prince and Princess of Wales at the rugby.”

Another added: “That is a look of love, so natural.”
