‘Traumatic’ moment whale poops before splashing crowd with feces at SeaWorld

A heartbreaking video has emerged which shows a SeaWorld killer whale pooping in the water before appearing to deliberately splash the feces at onlookers.

When the naughty animal jumped out of the water and landed in front of them, theme park visitors who were seated in the splash area for an orca performance received more than they had anticipated.

Samantha King was among the guests that were escorted back by SeaWorld San Antonio in Texas after the incident.

“It was shocking,” she said as per Times Now World.

“We expected to get wet sitting so close, but not like that. It smelled awful, and people were gagging.”

Through the glass window enclosing the animal, footage shows the creature defecating close to the water’s surface before swimming back around and taking to the skies.

Then it thunders down next to its feces, which fly out of its pool with the water and land on people watching.

After the killer whale poop, a youngster can be seen spinning around to stare at the camera in disgust before it splashes it over the edge, splashing the young boy who appears to be scared.

Online, the video went viral, and opinions on the incident were divided.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “The whale knows. It’s trying to tell everyone that it’s tired of jumping for everyone.”

While another typed: “All orcas belong in the wild.”

And a third claimed: “Orcas are incredibly smart. It knew exactly what he did.”

Orca Torch asserts that they are correct, citing research that suggests the animal’s IQ is comparable to that of a person aged 15 to 16 and that their brains weigh up to 15 pounds.

Other Twitter users, meanwhile, found the humorous side of the incident.

One quipped: “The ultimate troll.”

A second wrote on the social media platform: “Lol. homeboy looks horrified.”

The killer whale got some airtime before it crashed back into the water, splashing onlookers in its feces

Another person typed, “This is the most Sam Antonio thing I’ve ever seen.”

After the event, it was stated that guests who had feces splashed on them were brought to a park decontamination facility where they received soap, towels, and bottled water.

“We regret this unfortunate event and are taking every step to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests,” said a statement issued by SeaWorld

“Our team followed established protocols to minimize health risks and will review our procedures to prevent this from happening again.”
