Trump calls for Obama’s arrest with jaw-dropping Truth Social post after Tulsi Gabbard claimed ex-president was behind ‘years-long coup’

Former President Donald Trump has seemingly endorsed a call for Barack Obama’s arrest, after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard accused the ex-president of orchestrating a long-term plan to undermine Trump’s presidency.

Gabbard Declassifies 114 Pages of Evidence

On Friday, Gabbard declassified over a hundred pages of documents tied to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. According to her, the files expose a plot led by Obama and top officials to use politicized intelligence in an effort to cast doubt on Trump’s victory.

“Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people,” Gabbard stated, describing the alleged operation as “a years-long coup.”

Trump Amplifies Accusations on Social Media

Trump, who has long claimed that the Russia investigation was a hoax, reposted Gabbard’s interviews on Truth Social, signaling his support for her claims. Then on Sunday, he escalated his response by sharing an AI-generated TikTok video titled “No one is above the law.”

The video features top Democrats—including Obama, Biden, and Pelosi—repeating the titular phrase. It then shows a doctored scene where Trump and Obama sit in the Oval Office before FBI agents arrive to arrest Obama, who ends up in an orange jumpsuit behind bars. The video is set to the upbeat tune of “YMCA” by the Village People.

Gabbard’s released documents reportedly reveal that top Obama-era intelligence officials, including former FBI director James Comey and former intelligence chief James Clapper, were aware that Russia posed no threat of directly manipulating the 2016 vote count. Still, according to Gabbard, they moved forward with a misleading narrative.

One August 31, 2016 document stated there was “no indication of a Russian threat to directly manipulate the actual vote count through cyber means.” Despite this, officials later produced a report at the request of the president assessing Russia’s influence efforts, including cyber operations targeting both political parties.

Gabbard Calls for Investigations and Prosecutions

In a fiery statement, Gabbard demanded legal consequences for all involved: “No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.”

She pointed to what she called a “blatant rejection of our Constitution” and accused Democratic officials of abusing their power and misleading the public for political purposes.

Democratic Pushback and Epstein Distraction Claims

Democrats have dismissed Gabbard’s release as a political tactic, accusing her of trying to divert attention from the Department of Justice’s recent decision to end its investigation into the mishandling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

In response, Trump has instructed Attorney General Pam Bondi to release grand jury records related to Epstein, pending court approval.
