Kyle Gass controversy, in brief
As mentioned, his band Tenacious D was involved in a controversy due to a comment made by Kyle Gass. The incident happened on July 14 this year when the duo were performing in Sydney, Australia as part of a tour. During the performance, the Goosebumps star told Gass to make a birthday wish and the latter said:
“Don’t miss Trump next time.”

The statement led to severe criticism on social media and while there were demands for their removal from Australia, Black shared a post through his Instagram page two days later to announce that Tenacious D won’t continue the tour and expressed gratitude to everyone for supporting them.
