These sweet, heartbreaking moments were captured by photographer Matthew Raifman on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, Massachusetts. His heart melted when he saw Father Swan living with his signatories.

“I saw something unusual,” Riffman told WBZ-TV. “All the baby signets were on top of Papa Swan.” I described it as “one of the most heartbreaking stories.”

When Boston Animal Control came to check on the young goose, they were amazed at how the single father goose came with his children. Caring for a child is not an easy task but it has performed well. so lovely!
