5. Cloves promote oral health.

Clove compounds are already found in many toothpastes because they fight bacteria in your mouth and gut. Eating cloves can freshen your breath, help prevent cavities, and relieve tooth and gum pain.
6. Cloves support thyroid health and help control cholesterol.
Cloves are good for people dealing with thyroid issues, whether it’s hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. They can also help manage high cholesterol levels.
7. Cloves help fight inflammation.
Because cloves contain eugenol, they naturally reduce inflammation and can ease symptoms related to it.
Here’s how you can make clove tea:

Ingredients:
- 5 to 7 whole cloves
- 1 cup (about 250 ml) of water
Instructions:
- Rinse the cloves gently.
- Boil the water and add the cloves.
- Let it simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let it steep for another 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea and drink it warm — ideally first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
