Joe & Jill Biden step out for premiere — and everyone’s saying the same thing

Part 1 of 2

Joe Biden has largely stayed out of the public eye since leaving office, while a new leader has taken center stage in the political spotlight.

But on March 23, all attention turned to the former president as he and his wife, Jill, made a rare appearance at The Barrymore Theater in New York City. And the moment they arrived, everyone seemed to notice the same thing.

With Donald Trump now back in the White House, Biden has taken the opportunity for some well-earned rest. After years in the political spotlight, he’s finally stepping back—but not entirely out of sight.

Recently, Joe and Jill Biden attended the star-studded Broadway premiere of Othello, making one of their first major public outings since leaving Washington.

The couple turned heads as they arrived at the iconic theater on Sunday, March 23, 2025, to watch Hollywood legends Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal perform in the Shakespearean classic. Fans quickly took notice—and had plenty to say.

Fans Can’t Get Over How Good They Look

From the moment they stepped onto the red carpet, all eyes were on the Bidens. At 82, the former president looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo, while Jill dazzled in a shimmering teal gown that had social media buzzing.

One fan on X (formerly Twitter) gushed, “President Biden looks so relaxed and actually younger. Forever FLOTUS looks so beautiful.” Another wrote, “He looks so good.”

Reddit users echoed similar sentiments, with one remarking, “Joe literally looks 10 years younger,” while another added, “They always look so classy.”

Instagram was flooded with reactions, with one comment reading, “Is it just me, or does he look younger since leaving office?” Another fan raved, “Jill is absolutely stunning in that dress!”

Of course, this newfound vibrancy comes after years of criticism surrounding Biden’s presidency, particularly concerns about his physical health.
