Prince Harry has publicly stated that he and Meghan Markle plan to have just two children.
But despite having reached that limit, psychologist Stefan Walters suggests that Meghan might be feeling “broody” and nostalgic for the experience of pregnancy and early motherhood.
Hints from Recent Comments
Walters, after analyzing Markle’s recent reflections on being a mother, told OK! magazine that her frequent mentions of motherhood may be a sign she’s yearning for a third child.
“Women often romanticize and enjoy that stage of pregnancy and having a newborn baby,” he said, “and want to really share that with the world at large because it can be such a unique and beautiful time.”
He believes Meghan may be processing those same emotions, using her platform to work through them and give herself a voice.

Processing Past Pain Through Her Podcast
Markle’s podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, appears to have provided a safe space for her to talk about the emotional toll of her past pregnancies.
In a recent episode with guest Reshma Saujani, she opened up about her miscarriage and shared that she suffered from postpartum pre-eclampsia. Walters believes these revelations are part of her effort to revisit and perhaps reframe the more painful aspects of those experiences.
