Meghan Markle “ready to sit down” with royal family amid rift, according to expert

Part 2 of 2

The rift with the royal family goes back many years. The relationship between Meghan and Kate Middleton has been the one in the spotlight, and sadly, it began just before the Duchess’ wedding, where in the Oprah interview, Meghan revealed that Kate made her cry over a dress rant.

Meghan Markle “ready to sit down” with royal family,” royal expert claims

Even though years have passed, Meghan has said she doesn’t want to mend the relationship with the royals as she believes it has gone too far.

However, new reports suggest that Meghan has made quite the u-turn and is said to be “ready to sit down” with the royal family and bury the hatchet. But for what reason? One royal commentator said a good relationship with her in-laws would “help her sell her jam.”

Speaking to GB News, royal expert Angela Levin claimed the Duchess is “still genuinely hurt” by how the “royal family treated her.” Still, Meghan is ready to reunite with them to talk about things, the royal expert said.

“She’s still genuinely hurt by how she was treated by the Royal Family – this is four years on,” Levin told GB News. “And she wants to now at last sit down and talk through things.”

Further, Angela Levin claimed that Meghan wants the royal family to “make apologies” to her and Prince Harry.

“We know that means she wants the Royal Family, King Charles and everyone else to make an apology, but they don’t,” she continued. “The person who should apologise is really her, but they don’t want that.”

Meghan Markle wants royal family members to “help her sell her jams”

“She’s also trying to get Beatrice and Eugenie, who’s on top of her list, to get people to help her sell her jams. And she’s really hoping that King Charles might take one, too,” the royal expert concluded.

“It comes from quite a good source, and that would be her excuse to go there, she wanted to make sure everything was nice, but it’s also a way of selling her products.”

Meghan Markle reportedly “never wanted to set foot in Britain ever again,” but this might change their relationship with the royals.

The Duchess was said to have reached out to Kate Middleton both after the abdominal surgery and also the cancer diagnosis, which the Sussexes found out about from the news and not from their family.

Meghan Markle is focusing on her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and has gone on to sell jam. But as for Angela Levin’s report that making amends with the royals could help her sell more jam will probably not go down well with royal fans, as Meghan was accused of taking advantage of Kate’s royal return some weeks ago.

On Saturday, June 15, just hours before Kate Middleton made her royal return during Trooping the Colour, Argentinian polo player Nacho Figuerasa, a close friend of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, revealed the Duchess’s brand’s new raspberry-flavored jam via an Instagram Story.

Meghan Markle was accused of stealing the spotlight from Kate Middleton

The announcement’s timing left many royal fans angry, and they took to social media.

A fourth person concluded, “Who buys jam anyway? It is so easy to make right at home with fresh fruit and a load of sugar!”

Although many were furious with Meghan Markle for this, a source close to the Duchess told the Daily Beast that she had nothing to do with it.

The source claimed, “While I am sure the gift packages came with notes requesting social media coverage, you can’t tell Nacho Figueras what to do. So I think it’s certain the timing of his post was his own idea.”

“The larger point here is that the American Riviera Orchard campaign has been phenomenally successful and cost Meghan nothing.”

The source added, “It is a textbook social media campaign. The only problem is that there still seems to be nothing actually for sale, so what is it all for? I guess we will find out.”
