Meghan Markle’s secret ingredient for scrambled eggs leaves people divided

Part 2 of 2

She tells him that just a small splash is enough, and the impressed chef responds: “Really? I’m gonna try that.”

The Internet Reacts to Meghan’s Sparkling Water Hack

Viewers quickly picked up on the tip, with many eager to try it for themselves.

One Twitter user wrote: “Meghan Markle adds sparkling water to her eggs to make them fluffy, so now I add sparkling water to my eggs to make them fluffy.”

Another commented: “Meghan mentioned that she adds a little bit of sparkling water to her eggs and now I gotta try it out so it’s not swirling in my head.”

A third chimed in: “I do it all the time. Whisk egg. Add a tablespoon of sparkling water or seltzer per egg. I usually add a teaspoon of butter. Add to a heated pan. It’s very fluffy. Cook to your liking.”

However, not everyone was convinced.

One skeptical viewer tweeted: “With wack ‘tips’ like this—sparkling water in scrambled eggs? Any kind of water in eggs is vile.”

Another simply wrote: “Yuck!!!” while someone else reacted with disbelief: “Water?!!!”

In response to the skepticism, one user defended the trick: “Actually, sparkling water added (tiny bit) makes it airy. Like with crêpes. That is done.”

Whether a genius cooking hack or a questionable experiment, Meghan’s sparkling water trick has certainly sparked conversation.
