Prince Harry is said to be eager to “repair relations with his family,” but his wife Meghan Markle doesn’t share the same enthusiasm, especially amid ongoing talks of divorce.

Earlier this month, after the Court of Appeal denied his request to reinstate taxpayer-funded UK security, Harry expressed in interviews his wish for a “reconciliation with his family.”

He mentioned missing his home country and feeling sorry that he hasn’t been able to introduce it to his children, Archie and Lilibet.

On the other hand, reports suggest Meghan opposes Harry’s plan and would rather sever ties with the royal family altogether.

Closer Magazine reports that Meghan and Harry are not on the same page when it comes to his family.

A source told the news outlet that “Harry is keen to repair relations with his family, but that’s the last thing on Meghan’s mind at the moment. Although Harry doesn’t want to permanently move back to the UK, he has been pushing for a home there that he can visit regularly.”

However, the source added that even if they secured better protection, Meghan would probably still avoid coming to the UK. They explained that aside from security concerns, Meghan’s poor reputation with both Harry’s family and the public makes her feel unwelcome here.

These differences in opinion are expected to create tension between them. In fact, another insider reportedly suggested that divorce might be looming for the couple.

Harry and Meghan ‘divorce’ prediction

They said Meghan plans to speak out about what she believes she and Harry have been through.

The source claimed Meghan feels she should “be more aligned with her husband.”

They mentioned that Harry hoped to “be closer to his family and build bridges,” but Meghan “isn’t keen” and has told him, “‘I want out.’”

Although Harry doesn’t want to settle permanently in the UK, he has been pushing for a place there that he can visit regularly.

With rumors swirling about a possible divorce, the source said it’s “important” for Harry to “try to build bridges.”

They added, “But Meghan is quite firm on not wanting to return to the UK, which has caused them to butt heads. If it continues, forget the High Court and security disputes – this could end up in the divorce courts.”
