Prince William and Princess Kate leave fans gushing with ‘genuine’ moment of love during joint engagement in Wales

Part 1 of 2

Prince William and Princess Kate traveled to Wales today for a series of engagements leading up to St. David’s Day on March 1.

The couple arrived by train on Wednesday, February 26, marking their first joint engagement since taking a break last week.

Their visit took them to Pontypridd in South Wales, a town that had been impacted by Storm Bert and Storm Darragh in November and December of the previous year.

Prince William and Princess Kate Visit Pontypridd

During their time in Pontypridd, the royal couple toured Pontypridd Market and stopped by The Welsh Cake Shop, where they had the chance to learn how to make traditional Welsh cakes.

It was during this visit that a touching moment between the two was caught on camera. As they put on aprons and prepared to bake, William was seen tying his apron while chatting with Kate. The princess then walked over and gently placed a hand on his side, giving him a quick tap, a gesture that delighted fans.

A video of the moment, shared online, quickly gained attention, with royal enthusiasts praising the couple’s affectionate dynamic.

One fan commented, “Genuine love right there!”

Another added, “They are so natural together.”

A third admirer gushed, “I love seeing them happy and enjoying the moment.”

Someone else wrote, “These two are so in love.”
