It’s Princess Charlotte’s 10th birthday today, and just like every year, the Prince and Princess of Wales have released a new portrait to celebrate.
The photo was posted earlier today (2 May) on the official Kensington Royal social media pages — just a little over a week after they shared a similar birthday snap for Prince Louis, who turned seven on 23 April.
Charlotte is the second of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children. Her older brother, Prince George, will turn 12 this summer on 22 July.
After the photo went up, royal fans quickly noticed the same thing — and they all couldn’t stop talking about it.
The photo in question shows Princess Charlotte sitting down during what looks like a countryside hike. She’s wearing a camouflage jacket and a backpack, smiling directly at the camera.
Will and Kate shared the picture — which was actually taken by Kate herself — with the caption: “Happy 10th Birthday Princess Charlotte!”
Royal fans quickly took to social media to share their thoughts, with many saying Charlotte looks just like her father.
One wrote: “The image of her dad. Happy birthday!”
Another added: “So like her dad happy birthday,” and a third agreed: “Image of her daddy!”
A fourth commented: “She looks just like her dad!”
